Machine Learning Problem Solving Interview

FAANG-style machine learning interview which asks the user to solve a practical ML problem

This interview is targeted for L4, L5, and L6 and can be adapated depending on the interviewees needs. The interview will consist of the following

~10 minutes to ask about the candidate

~50 minutes on the problem

~30 minutes to reflect on the interview itself

Specifically, the user will be presented with a real-world problem and asked to solve it using generally accepted machine learning practices. Although some in-depth knowledge of algorithms is useful, it is not required. The interview will focus more on defining the problem itself, how to collect training data, test data, and how to monitor the system performance. Advanced candidates will be asked how the algorithm / system they design can handle common problems such as out-of-domain issues, dirty training data, and handling regressions in general.
